On Grand Cayman, a Story Hour will be held at East End Library this Saturday, 12 May, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Following, North Side children and residents are invited to their library event on Saturday, 2 June, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. West Bay's Story Hour will be held on Saturday, 30 June, also from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

In addition to reading stories, the Saturday morning events on will include cultural presentations of arts and crafts, dance, music, and poetry by children, as well as including other members of the respective communities.

Members of each of these communities are encouraged to assist the Lions and Public Library Service in reaching out to young people, and in encouraging the joy of reading and learning. Refreshments will be served at each event.

Similar Story Hours have already been held at the George Town and Bodden Town libraries.
